Texas Instruments' solution, the Crosspoint, provides the switch/MUX function and extends the length by re-driving the signal for the next leg if required.  The FPD-Link II Ser/Des chipset provides the signal condition features.  The SerDes chipset and the Crosspoint are both available in automotive grade products.  Industrial variants are also upcoming as well.  See AN-1898 and AN-1826 for details on video expanding and extension applications.
