The next example assumes that there is SER/DES link that needs to be expanded to support multiple sources.  For instance, the multiple imager links in the automotive application shown here should be ideally connected to a single DSP input port.  These cameras could be located at the front of the vehicle and in the mirror (or mirror location).  The following slides look at how to connect them to a single video input port and also how signal conditioning (coding) is used to enhance the signal fidelity on the link.
