“EB” PACKAGING CODE FOR WSL(x), WSC, WSN, WSF, WSH
AND WSR TYPE RESISTORS
The "EB" packaging code specifies "lead-free t&r 1k pcs qty", this is a non-
standard packaging code for distributors that allows them to purchase in 1k pcs
quantities. The “EB” packaging code is identical to the standard full reel "EA"
code except the “EB” has package qty of 1k pcs instead of the full reel quantity
shown on datasheet. For volume production we recommend the customer
always specify our standard “EA” package code. The exception for this is with
our WSL2816 part that has “EH” as standard full reel package code.

click on “Dale-Huntington-Mills-Central SAP Parts Numbering Manual”. Once it
downloads look on the left side panel and click on “SCHEME” then on “VISHAY
DALE WIREWOUND RESISTOR” and lastly on the basic model number you
are concerned with (ie. WSL). There you will find what “EB” and “EA” are
defined as.
