Welcome to the Renesas RX Core product training module. The purpose of this presentation is to introduce the RX architecture and key features of the RX core. This course will cover details concerning the CPU core and pipeline and how the CPU interfaces to memory and the rest of the system. It will also give a brief overview of the RX instruction set, an introduction to the RX’s flexible interrupt handling and an under-the-hood look at the RX floating point unit. Finally the session will wrap up with a quick discussion of the high-speed memory built into every RX chip.
