This page provides a quick review of the basic architecture of a Concerto microcontroller. Recall the F28M35x is the first device within the Concerto family. A Concerto device has two main subsystems, the first one is the Master subsystem (M or M3), which is based on an ARM Cortex-M3 CPU. The second one is a Control subsystem (C or C28x), which is based on the C28x floating point unit. When important, this presentation will indicate which subsystem can configure a particular functionality. This has been done using colors and outline boxes to make the distinction clear.
