Texas Instruments has recently released a family of very high performance LVDS devices that have extended LVDS performance above 3 Gbps. These SiGe BiCMOS devices all exhibit very low jitter, require little power and feature signal conditioning such as equalization and pre-emphasis. The new family features buffers, equalizers, crosspoints and 1 to n repeaters all with superb performance.
