Evaluation boards are available for all of the new high-speed devices. As shown in this example, these boards all contain various embedded trace lengths to enable the user to investigate performance with different media without requiring external hardware. In this example there are 3 separate traces, 14, 28 and 42 inch traces embedded on the evaluation board.
