The L6207 adds the PWM current control for each bridge. Actually this is a fixed off time frequency modulation control that senses the voltage across the sense resistor and when it exceeds the reference, triggers a monostable that turns the bridge off for a fixed time set by the external RC network. The current control also has a blanking time built into the circuit that is set to ignore the switching noise at turn on that can sometimes fool the current control. All of the other features of the L6205 remain in the device.
