Once the capacitance, rated voltage, and tab style are identified, pick the corresponding part number from the KEMET series C4B datasheet and indicate the desired tab style by placing its letter code in the digit thirteen position of the KEMET part number. The capacitance tolerance is indicated in digit fifteen, the last digit, in which both 5% and 10% tolerances are available. However in actual practice only the 5% tolerance is generally manufactured. Therefore digit fifteen should always be the letter “J”.
