There are many key drivers for the implementation and use of Wi-Fi 6 and 6E. With nearly every business and more than 85% of homes in the US having some sort of broadband access, it is estimated that there are 42 billion devices generating 80 zettabytes of data. The need for a very fast and robust internet backbone is critical. As of February 2023, Wi-Fi 6 and 6E has reached 65% market adoption. This has happened much more quickly than previous Wi-Fi generations. Fueled by a demand for high quality wireless, Wi-Fi access points, and more efficient and reliable connectivity, there is no end in sight for continuing to upgrade and improve the speed and efficiency of the wireless networks.
