The MPM80 series is a compact, space-saving DC/DC converter module which integrates most of the major components for a switching power supply including the inductor in a fully molded TO-220 sized package. It can handle input voltages up to 35 V and approximately up to 1.5 A output current out of its 2 A capability without a heat sink required. Since ceramic capacitors can be used as the output filter capacitor, it allows for a high-efficiency switching power supply in a very small PCB area. An added feature is the conductive noise is low.
