Welcome to Part 1 of the 2-part H8 Series Digital-to-Analog (D/A) Converter product training module. This module will introduce the peripheral functions built into Renesas H8 series microcontrollers (MCUs). In Part-1 of this course the topics to be covered include; some D/A applications will be highlighted, different types of D/A converters will be described, an explanation of key design facts, and application hints. Part 2 of this course will describe a PWM type of D/A converter.
