While space and time preclude a complete delineation of competitive products and their performance specifications, a table is presented on this slide comparing seven of the key performance parameters for the Murata SPM15 models, and comparable devices from three prominent competitors. These three competitors are those most commonly encountered in the global marketplace for products of this type. The row labeled thermal de-rating shows the temperature at which de-rating of the output power starts, with natural convection cooling. It can be seen that the SPM derates at a higher temperature than most competitive models shown. Also, the line and load regulation is tighter, in some cases resulting in total regulation that is sixteen times better than competitive models.
