In summary, the WIT family provides high reliability and robustness and are very useful in specific applications such as when guaranteed bandwidth is required. They do however tend to be in the higher price bracket than the DNT family modules. The DNT family of products on the other hand have established new price per performance points in the marketplace. The radio modules in this family are flexible with several inputs and outputs and can be battery operated. They are much lower cost and are useful where applications are cost sensitive. Both families have products available in the 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz frequency ranges.
