To improve the user experience, Analog Devices has developed a PC-based tool to make designing with PIXI easy and intuitive. Just drag and drop components and connect wires to pins. Then use the “properties” tab to set specifications such a sample rate, reference source, and voltage range. Once the designer is satisfied with the configuration on the GUI, a .CSV file is generated with the registers addresses and corresponding register values. This file may be read with a GUI for download to target hardware (for example a Pmod or EVKit) or embedded within code for programming a PIXI device in the end application.
