Some of the key features of the LTC3130 and LTC3130-1 are shown on this slide. These include: the ability to regulate VOUT above, below or equal to VIN; a wide VIN range of 2.4 to 25V, and less than 1V using the EXTVCC pin input; a broad VOUT range of 1 to 25V; adjustable output voltage on the LTC3130, four selectable fixed output voltages on the LTC3130-1. The devices are capable of 1.2µA no-load input current in Burst Mode® operation at VIN = 12V, VOUT = 5V, at light load it is only 1.6µA. Output current in buck mode is 600mA. There is pin-selectable 850mA/450mA current limit on the LTC3130. The LTC3130/LTC3130-1 feature up to 95% efficiency and offer pin-selectable burst mode operation. They operate at a 1.2MHz low noise PWM frequency, feature programmable maximum power point control, and are available in thermally-enhanced 20-lead 3mm × 4mm QFN and 16-lead MSOP packages.
