The EXCELON™ F-RAM is designed to offer reliability, performance, and low-power benefits to the system. The architecture of the EXCELON F-RAM pairs an F-RAM memory array with an Arm® Cortex® M0 microcontroller to support F-RAM memories with densities from 1 Mbit to 16 Mbits. This also allows for optimized power consumption with low standby and sleep currents, as well as high-performance operation over a 108MHz Quad SPI or a 50MHz SPI Bus. EXCELON F-RAM is additionally designed to be functional-safety ready and is compliant with ISO 26262 ASIL B. On-chip error correcting code (ECC), data cycling redundancy check, memory block protection and assured boot are some safety features offered for use in safety critical applications. EXCELON F-RAMs are offered in multiple industry standard RoHS-compliant packages and support extended temperature grades for both industrial and automotive products.
