      SparkFun RedBoard | DigiKey Daily

Physically modeled after the Arduino Uno R3, Sparkfun has created the RedBoard, utilizing their favorite features from all the Arduino boards. Capable of being programmed through the Arduino IDE and accepting Uno R3 shields, the RedBoard features the conveniences of the Arduino Uno while also using the simple Optiboot bootloader that utilizes the FTDI USB interface. Based around the ATmega328 running at 16 megahertz with 32K of flash memory, the RedBoard boasts the peripherals that one would expect from an Uno, such as UART, SPI, 6 PWM outputs, 6 analog inputs, and 14 digital IO pins.
