Omron 2JCIE-BL01 Environment Sensor | DigiKey Daily
Omron presents its wireless environmental sensor, the 2JCIE-BL01. This device has seven sensing capabilities, including temperature, humidity, light, pressure, noise, UVI, and acceleration. Using its 10 meter Bluetooth low energy interface, this sensor transmits its collected environmental data directly to phones or through cloud services. And when using the free downloadable app, historical data can be tracked and threshold values can be programmed for user notification in case of abnormal sensor readings. The included CR2032 battery provides approximately 6 months of operation when taking 5-minute measurement intervals once a day. With its small dimensions of 46 by 39 by 15 millimeters, this sensor is suitable for various applications, including home monitoring, building automation, outdoor weather monitoring, and factory environment monitoring.
