In summary, Alveo™ is a family of adaptable accelerator cards for dynamic data center workloads. Designers can use Alveo cards to deploy solutions in the Cloud or on-premises interchangeably, giving them flexibility. The Alveo product line comes in two size categories – the single-slot, half-height, half-length cards are offered through the U50 and the dual-slot, full-height, full- or three-quarter-length cards, which are U200, U250, and U280. These cards have greater logic capacity than the single-slot cards. The U50 and the U280 have HBM2 high bandwidth memory and PCI Express 4.0 with CCIX support. There are over 150 applications and libraries available for common workloads to reduce the development time. AMD also enables developers with the Vitis unified software platform.
