Why does the customer need horticulture LEDs? It is not new for plants to be cultivated with artificial light. Plants require light to develop. However, there is often not enough light available, especially sunlight. For instance, on cloudy, rainy, or wintry days, the days are too short. Because of this, people use artificial light. It is important to understand that light can control a variety of processes in plant development, such as photosynthesis, morphology, or phototropism. Different quality parameters of plants can be optimized by light. Some examples of quality parameters include biomass, target flowering, better rooting, more secondary plant metabolites, and flavor.
