TE offers three types of AMP-Latch headers. The printed circuit board headers consist of low profile headers, and universal headers. Both of these versions are available in through-hole vertical and right-angle orientations, with 15 or 30 micro inches of gold flash over palladium nickel plating. Universal headers are also available with press-fit tails. Universal I/O headers are terminated to ribbon cable, and are used in cable to cable or cable to panel applications. This allows for scalable connection lengths, adding system versatility and cost savings. All headers are available with long or short latches, and can also be used without latches. Long latches are used when the receptacle, which is applied to the ribbon cable, is utilizing a strain relief for additional termination security in high movement or vibration applications. Customizable pin layouts are available upon request.
