This is also a benchmark comparing ST’s technology with the competition. The example circuit is the L6728 demoboard (DC/DC buck) in which ST’s planar technology, H5, is used in the high side. In the low side, the previous H6 technology, the new trench H7, and two competitors' trench technologies are compared, resulting in the parameters shown in the table on this slide.
