The TU425 is a compact 3.3 x 6.3”, and a height of 1.62” will allow it to fit into 1U high enclosures. The 425 W of air cooled power and 300 W of convection power ratings are unparalleled for power supplies in its class. The TU425 Series operates over an AC input voltage range of 90 to 265 V. Features include a Power Good/Power fail signal, DC OK signal, an inhibit function, current sharing, and remote sense. As more and more test and measurement and industrial applications are being designed for global usage, the introduction of unstable mains sources and other environmental phenomena make it critical to power supply users to choose a power supply that will best help the equipment operate continuously and reliably in these environments. To that end, the TU425 Series models feature compliance to the higher levels of EMC based upon the IEC61000-4 standards, such as 15 kV ESD protection, 4 kV surge protection, 10 V/m conducted RF Immunity, and 10 A/m field immunity. Conducted EMI meets Class B levels, with 6 db of margin, and the radiated EMI meets class A levels with 3 db of margin. The added margin ensures that system designers have less work to do to allowing systems to comply, saving them cost and development time. The TU425 models also feature enhanced common mode noise attenuation. The TU425 model datasheets will include Common Mode Noise performance data, making it easier for system level implementation. All models are safety certified to the latest edition of the IEC/EN/UL60950 standards, and carry a 3 year warranty.
