A broad technology lineup allows ROHM to offer unique charging solutions. Technologies vary from fully integrated power management, to discrete components, microcontrollers, and all the way to sensors. Having access to the various IP from the different company groups give an advantage compared to other companies. Focusing on the power management portion, ROHM has adapters and receiver devices for both USB-PD Type-C and WPC Qi. In addition, on the receiver side, the portfolio includes chargers for Li-Ion battery cells and full PMIC’s that integrate multiple power rails and li-ion battery chargers.
