ESR-Slide5

As seen here, the ESR resistor resistance change rate does not vary much when compared to a conventional MCR chip resistor. The two graphs show resistance in ohms on the X-axis and resistance change rate as a percentage on the Y-axis. The circuit and table at the bottom show the test conditions. The graph on the left shows an 0402 inch comparison of the anti-surge ESR01 and standard MCR01; note at 10 kΩ the ESR01 changes by only 2% while the MCR01 resistance can change by 30% after a surge.
