Seen here are the possible locking configurations for the flat cable connectors. In the case of the XG4, the flat cable plug connector is available with long or short locks. A no lock version is also available for the convenience of automated mounting. In this case, the lock levers can be attached after soldering is completed. The mating sockets for this series are: XG4M for the flat cable, XG4M-T for the strain relief, and XG5M for the discrete wire models.
