The first bits in the MISO line are a frame error bit of the previous frame, reset status bit, self-test status bit, saturation status, fixed zero bit, fixed one bit, and odd parity bit of output data. Parity is calculated from data that is currently being sent to the device. The later 8 bits contain data for a read operation. During the write operation, these data bits are previous data bits of addressed register.
