Digi ConnectCore 6UL offers global wireless connectivity for mission critical applications, whether it is Smart City infrastructure or manufacturing automation. Device manufacturers are adding wireless connectivity to their products to improve reliability and make the manufacturing process more efficient. With integrated connectivity, manufacturers are better able to get information from the factory floor to centralized cloud management systems to quickly uncover and address any issues long before the product leaves the factory. In the example shown on this slide, a water treatment equipment manufacturer wanted to use connectivity to gather information about equipment status in municipal water treatment facilities.
