To receive a Cospas-Sarsat Type Approval Certificate, a beacon manufacturer is required to demonstrate its completed beacon can meet the requirements of C/S T.001. The technical data and test results must be reviewed by the Cospas-Sarsat Secretariat and then submitted to the Cospas-Sarsat Parties for approval. The TCXO data must be included in the submittal at the time application for the certification.
