Studio Development Environment Overview Part 1 Slide 3
Every view in Atmel Studio is designed to offer the information a developer might need, when it is needed. Using the device selector as an example: if the user is creating a new project and does not know which Microchip  microcontroller is the most suitable for the project, the Device Selector in Atmel Studio makes that decision a little easier. It provides additional information about each device, such as memory sizes, voltage range, a quick link to the device datasheet, and a list of all development tools supporting the selected device. The designer can browse a list of all devices, or filter on device family. This makes device selection a little easier, faster and more comfortable. The next slide will take a look at more Atmel Studio views and functions by opening an example project.
