Designed for high-volume module termination and uses air or
nitrogen supply. An air cylinder or compressor with output pressure
of 6.33–7.03 kg/cm (90–100 PSI) must be used. The unit is either
hand- or foot-operated.

Lightweight and hand-operated. When proper crimping pressure is
reached, a bypass valve opens.

applications. Anchored to the suspension strand, the strand clamps

from 5 mm (3/16") diameter to 10 mm (3/8").

This assembly is designed to hold an MS2 splicing head so it can be
used in all applications.

A module probe that permits one pair checking without damaging
wire insulation. The prongs fit the test entry port of all MS2 modules.
The cord permits easy connection to a talk block or test set.

The 4049-VTB Variable Traverse Brace fits into the 4041-SH Splicing
Head Holder and is designed to hold the MS2 Splicing Head with
Pedestal Support. It enables the user to position the MS2 splice head

3M™ MS2™ splicing rigs, tools and modules are engineered to work together to achieve consistently superior
performance in the field. Modules from other manufacturers may not meet the tight quality tolerances of
3M modules and may damage the calibration and performance of a 3M rig or tool. Therefore, the published
3M warranty does not extend to any 3M modules spliced in rigs or tools not made by 3M. The warranty on
3M MS2 splicing rigs and Scotchlok™ splicing tools can also be violated if used on non-3M modules.
All statements, technical information, and recommendations related to 3M’s products are based on information
believed to be reliable, but the accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed. Before using this product, you must
evaluate it and determine if it is suitable for your intended application. You assume all risks and liability associated
with such use. Any statements related to the product which are not contained in 3M’s current publications, or any
contrary statements contained on your purchase order shall have no force or effect unless expressly agreed upon, in

This product will be free from defects in material and manufacture for a period of 12 months from the date of
purchase. 3M MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
If this product is defective within the warranty period stated above, your exclusive remedy shall be, at 3M’s option,
to replace or repair the 3M product or refund the purchase price of the 3M product. Except where prohibited by
law, 3M will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from this 3M product, whether direct, indirect, special,
incidental or consequential regardless of the legal theory asserted.
