RN-171-EK: WiFi to USB/UART

Summary

The RN131/171 Evaluation Kits are used for demonstrating the RN131 and RN171 module capabilities. These boards have the flexibility to connect directly to computers/laptops through a standard USB interface or to embedded controllers through the serial UART interface. These evaluation boards contain two push buttons, namely RESET and FN. The RESET button is used to reset the module and the FN button is used to launch different applications depending on software configuration. The status LEDs enables quick debug support.

The RN171 Evaluation Board has an additional flexibility of powering up through battery pack (two AAA batteries) apart from connecting through USB cable to the host PC. Analog sensor interface supported by RN131 and RN171 Evaluation Boards also provides direct connections to read analog signals such as temperature, acceleration and so on.
