TE Connectivity's KILOVAC KCS series of current sensing contactors eliminate the need for a discrete current sensor, saving you money, weight, and space. The sensor function provides a programmable trip feature allowing for immediate, delayed, or disabled trip. This hermetically-sealed and extremely small and lightweight series of current sensing contactors can be mounted in any orientation. Other features include bidirectional switching and an integrated dual-coil electronic economizer with internal coil suppression which makes the device EMC compliant with no radiated coil emissions. Ideal applications include energy storage, high-voltage DC converter systems, industrial automation, test equipment, and military and commercial electric vehicles.
