When applying one’s foot to the brake pedal, it is taken for granted that the braking mechanism will begin to slow or stop the vehicle. However, if the brake fluid is drained or leaked away, the brakes will not slow or stop the vehicle. The results could be catastrophic with loss of life a possibility. So quality and reliability of any sensor selected to detect a reduction or low level of brake fluid remaining is critical.
