The chart shown here illustrates the features of Hysteretic control mode. The Hysteretic Control mode is constructed by simple circuit structure. The Hysteretic controller turns on and off the switch by simply comparing feedback voltage with reference voltage by the comparator. Its circuit scale is reduced by 10% from conventional type of voltage mode or current mode control, because it needs no phase compensation circuit. Because of its simple circuit structure, the Hysteretic control mode DC-DC converter moves in super quick-response and is made on small chip.
