This slide outlines three of the embedded form factors that have been referenced in this presentation. The first is the widely popular SocketModem® with a universal footprint, offering a wide variety of communication options. The QuickCarrier™ is Multi-Tech’s fastest to market because it does not need a board spin. Mount the QuickCarrier inside the housing and connect it with a four-pin USB connector. The third is the MultiConnect® OCG-E Open Communications Gateway, which is basically a cellular System on a Module (SOM) which can host the user’s application and provide cellular connectivity. Multi-Tech also offers a Mini PCIe form factor with cellular, GPS, Voice, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi options all in one compact design.
