If hardware availability is an issue to support a customer’s part then the SAB9 (Socket Adapter Board for LPC9xx) may be what is needed. The SAB9 will allow programming of devices in standalone mode and provides a platform for most NXP LPC9xx devices in packages like: TSSOP, HSVON10, HQVFN28, and DIP 8 – 28. The SAB9 kit also supports the 5V P89V52xxA part and includes an RJ45 Ethernet style cable that interfaces with the USB-ICP device. Additionally, the SAB9 also includes a set of onboard LEDs for test purposes and breaks out all signals from every socket, except the PLC44, to two 14-pin, 100 mil headers. This allows the user to easily interface to the SAB for testing purposes.
