Due to an increased demand in even higher currents, Würth Elektronik’s offers the size 2212. At 22 mm x 22 mm x 12 mm, the high-current flat wire inductor offers the industry's lowest DCRs for a maximum of performance in your (boost) DC/DC converter. The range of inductance values starts at 6.8 µH up to 82 µH. As for reference, at 10 µH the inductor has 21 A rated current and 26 A before it starts to saturate. This means that even driving the part at its max temperature it still delivers the full inductance and only having a DCR of 3.4 mΩ.
