ADS1118EVM: K-Type Thermocouple to SPI Interface

Summary

The ADS1118 is a precision ADC. It features onboard reference and oscillator, as well as 16 bits of resolution. The ADS1118 can perform up to 860 samples per second (SPS) and has an onboard programmable gain amplifier (PGA) that allows input ranges from ±256 mV to ±6.144 V. It also contains an input multiplexer that allows each input to be used with reference to ground, or two differential inputs.

The ADS1118EVM is a platform for evaluating the ADS1118. This document provides an overview of the ADS1118EVM, and provides a general description of the features and functions to be considered while using this evaluation module.
