Semtech RClamp3354S.TCT TVS Diode | DigiKey Daily

Semtech offers their low-voltage RClamp3354S.TCT RailClamp TVS diode. This diode, which incorporates surge-rated, low capacitance steering diodes, and a TVS diode in a single package, protects sensitive components connected to high-speed data and transmission lines from overvoltage caused by electrical fast transients, cable discharge events, and electrostatic discharge. This protective device, which protects up to four I/O lines, withstands high levels of surge current, of up to 25 amps with an 8-by-20 microsecond pulse, while maintaining a low loading capacitance of less than 5 picofarads. This high surge capability means that this TVS diode is well suited for Gigabit Ethernet, telecommunication lines, and LVDS interfaces. Ideal applications include central office equipment, MagJacks and integrated magnetics, and notebooks, desktops, and servers.
