Panasonic PAN4620 Series Module | DigiKey Daily

Panasonic offers their PAN4620 series dual mode RF module. To provide maximum flexibility, this IEEE 802.15.4 and Bluetooth Low Energy module can be operated in standalone and hosted modes. With 512 kilobytes of Flash memory and 128 kilobytes of SRAM, the PAN4620 can easily be used as a standalone controller, thus eliminating the need for an external processor as well as reducing complexity, space, and cost. And when using the PAN4620 in hosted mode, the integration of 802.15.4 and/or BLE connectivity into existing applications is easily achieved. Using this module in combination with NXP’s certified thread stack, BLE stack, or a combination of both, for concurrent operation, allows meeting IoT application requirements without the need for a gateway.
