New Product Discoveries Ep 404: Molex NTC Sensors and Ground Jumpers

Ashley Awalt, Senior Technical Content Developer at DigiKey, presents New Product Discoveries. In this video, Ashley introduces Molex ring terminal NTC sensors and Molex braided ground jumpers. Molex ring terminal NTC sensors feature potted NTC chip secured in a ring terminal and connected to a micro-lock plus connector via a lead wire. The ring terminal acts as a heat-sink while allowing a firm connection to the mounting surface. The design allows for accurate temperature readings in hard-to-reach areas in a range of beta resistance values. Other features include a choice of M2, M3.5, or M4 size ring connectors, continuous operation from -40°C to +105°C, a variety of length options and easy customization. Molex grounding jumper solutions are UL-certified off-the-shelf and are designed for industrial, data center, commercial vehicle, substation and utility applications. These heavy-duty jumpers provide a 93% solid termination throughout compression. The jumpers come in a variety of widths and lengths to accommodate multiple applications with custom ordering to fit exact needs. Increased cross-sectional contact area and increased pull-out strength make them ready for use in high-power applications.
