Welcome to the Kingston IronKey^™ Encrypted USB and External SSD Solutions product training module. This presentation will discuss data protection for company-proprietary data that goes beyond the typically-regulated personal identifiable information that is so often discussed in the media and covered by laws and regulations. This is about information that is part of a company’s IP and business methods, knowledge bases that are not meant to be made public or shared on the internet. This presentation will offer examples in the embedded industry where such devices are very useful for protecting engineering and industrial data. Next, three drives will be presented. Two will be OS independent, and one will be for Windows/macOS users who prefer a software interface with either a USB-A or USB-C connector.
