Welcome to MaxLinear's PowerXR Digital Power Controllers (Part 1 of 5) product training module. This series will include this introduction and overview, a review of switching regulator control as it applies to the PowerXR products, along with a look at some of the details inside the part. It will then go through optimizing the transient performance in the control loop, and then lastly it will cover the details of some of the features of the part, such as soft start, soft stop, and fault performance.
