Roving Networks' RN-41-SM / RN-42-SM Bluetooth Socket Module Roving Networks' RN-41-SM and RN-42-SM are though-hole, low power, and highly flexible Bluetooth socket modules. They support SPP/DUN and HCI Bluetooth interface protocols, are simple to design in and fully certified. With a high performance on-chip antenna and support for Bluetooth^® Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), the RN-41 and RN-42 deliver up to 3 Mbps data rate for distances to 100 M or 20 M, respectively. The RN-41 and RN-42 socket modules are the perfect method for adding Bluetooth wireless capability to existing products without redesign, saving designers significant time and money.
