Looking for a microcontroller that is power efficient, offers high performance, and is cost sensitive? Then consider NXP's LPC51U68 MCU. Based on the highly energy-efficient Arm Cortex M0+ core and operating at CPU frequencies of up to 100 megahertz, NXP's 32-bit microcontrollers feature larger memory resources, including 96 kilobytes of on-chip SRAM and 256 kilobytes of on-chip Flash. Other features include a flexible serial port configuration, including USB connectivity, which allows for design flexibility, performance, and integration for IoT and industrial applications. Also possible is UART, I2C, and SPI port bridging from the MCU to USB via the onboard debug probe. Other handy features include multiple power supply options, a tri-colored LED, and a built-in power consumption measurement.
