LT3932 is a monolithic, synchronous, step-down DC to DC converter and LED driver. With an input voltage range from 3.6 volts to 36 volts, this voltage converter is ideal for a wide variety of applications including automotive, industrial, and architectural lighting. With efficiencies up to 93%, the device requires no external heat sink and comes in a tiny footprint, and the combination of its silent switcher topology and spread spectrum frequency modulation minimizes EMI concerns. Additional features include an LED current monitor, an enable and undervoltage-lockout pin, open-drain fault reporting for open-circuit and short-circuit load conditions, and thermal shutdown.
