Carlo Gavazzi RM1A Series Solid State Relays | DigiKey Daily
Carlo Gavazzi presents their RM1A series of zero switching solid state relays. These industrial, 1-phase relays are uniquely constructed to handle all resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads. The zero switching relay switches ON when the sinusoidal voltage curve crosses zero and switches OFF when the current crosses zero. They are manufactured using direct copper bonding, which reduces the number of internal components and solder joints. This reduction results in a prolonged life and better heat transfer. The slightly convex back plate assures ideal thermal contact to an external heat sink. They are packaged in a 58.2 by 44.8 by 28.8 millimeter chassis mount housing. Other features include a green LED status indicator, built-in MOV protection, and a clip-on IP20-rated protection cover.
