CSeries-Slide3

This slide highlights the construction of a traditional TDK MLCC. There are alternating layers of ceramic dielectric and nickel electrode materials along with a terminal end composed of Copper, Nickel, and Matte Tin. TDK was the first to offer the Nickel “Base Metal Electrode” in mass production in 1986. TDK’s MLCCs have been lead free since 1999 consisting of Barium Titanate for the Class II dielectrics (X5R, X7R, X6S, X7S, X7T), and Class III dielectric (Y5V). TDKs Class I dielectric (C0G) is composed of Calcium Zirconate. The C Series is available in traditional materials, voltages, dimensions and functions.
